Fitting S4/GT3 Wheels (2) 26/10/03

After getting the wheels back from WREL I decided to trial fit incase my sizes were off, It was a snug but did go on. Also notice that I have to use the surplied jack to raise the car enough to get a full jack under it.
You can see from the copper grease that you only need to machine out the first 20mm but would have to ask if its worth it. Now off to pristene wheels to be bead blasted, chips welded and powder coated. I was going to have parts of the 'spokes' custom sprayed to match the car but decided that would effect the resale if I move to a V8 set later.
Finally fitted. In hind sight I should have had them machines out to 60.3mm as I needed to gentley sand down the wheels centers and hubs to get them to fit after powder coating.

I decided to go for a set of Dunlop Sport SP9000 in the end. That have better dry/wet grip that PZero's but not quite as good dry/wet grip a Goodyear Eagels. I should benefit from better grip but still get warning before it goes.
