The hole at the front received the same treatment as those at the rear. |

The Compound was sanded and a small skim of body filler applied. This was flatted with an extra layer added any low spots. |

The whole surround was then flatted with 600 Wet n Dry. After this was cleaned off it was masked and primed. I wanted to get this done to protect any bare metal. It was a race against daylight but did manage to prime the surround and temp fit the rubber. All be the last bit under torch light. |

In the light of the following morning the progress could be seen. Thankfully it was another nice day. Now to flat, Clean, Mask and spray with Satin Black. |
